Trauma Counselling
It is a women-centered approach to those who have experienced sexual abuse either in childhood or adulthood.
Counselling is a voluntary process that goes at your pace. The therapeutic relationship is collaborative, and you have the right to stop at any moment. Furthermore, you will share the information that you feel comfortable to communicate.

The purpose of counselling is to reduce the impact of traumatic experience(s) and help to regain a sense of control in your life. In my practice, I choose a combination of multiple approaches based on your identified needs (safety, stabilization, support, processing trauma), and your previous experiences with other approaches.

Latino Couple and Family Counselling
A systemic approach to work with couples and families who struggle with the process of acculturation.
Counselling offers the possibility of helping them to resolve conflicts acknowledge the moment in which the families are (assimilating the new culture, separating from it, or marginalized from both cultures). At the same time, they can focus on resolving the conflicts between their members and other situations like financial, parenting, grief, separation, mental illness, or substance abuse problems.
Clinical Mentorship & Consultation
Clinical support for new mental health counsellors that work with vulnerable populations or in crisis settings.

One to one mentoring clinical meetings to provide you with the anchor to enhance your performance, increase your confidence, and act proactively with your self-care. Mentoring sessions will complete through hypothetical case discussion, case planning, crisis intervention, and safety. Clinical mentoring meetings are based on an eclectic approach. I apply elements of the trauma-informed practices, the stages of recovery, and the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Please remember that a self-care plan needs the following: A sense of personal control, a sense of accomplishment, healthy lifestyle choices, social support, sense of humor, and kindness to ourselves!
